Silvano Pelagius started the match with the kick off. Rapelli's Jaime Gervaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Rapelli from getting a goal against them. 5 minutes into the match, Rapelli's goalkeeper Jaime Gervaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Guillem. If Prospero Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rapelli's goalkeeper Jaime Gervaso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristobal Guillem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jaime Gervaso made a huge save. In the 12thth minute of the game Ubaldo Katia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rapelli's Jaime Gervaso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rapelli's Jaime Gervaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Rapelli from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Cangrejillos FC's Ubaldo Katia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jaime Gervaso. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Cristobal Guillem hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Cristobal Guillem's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jaime Gervaso firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 27th minute Ubaldo Katia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Katia in the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cristobal Guillem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cangrejillos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Guillem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Gervaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Katia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Rapelli's Jaime Gervaso got control of the ball when Prospero Isadore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubaldo Katia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Jaime Gervaso made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ubaldo Katia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Katia in the 58th minute of play forced Rapelli's goalkeeper Jaime Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Pelagius's late challenge caught a Cangrejillos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvano Pelagius helped the player get up and apologised. Silvano Pelagius kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rapelli's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Lauaxeta was slow to take the kick. During this time Cangrejillos FC's players had a chance to rest. After 63 played minutes Venancio Maura rounded Cangrejillos FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 78th minute Ubaldo Katia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
