A collision led to Aguaditas getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Haroldo Rik hit a great ball. Enrique Gines scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Ugaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Aguaditas's goalkeeper Aquilino Claude had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Veronica. Enrique Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Ugaitz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Mundo in the 40th minute of play forced Los Pibes Corvina FC's goalkeeper Faustino Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Pibes Corvina FC's Baltasar Bibiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aquilino Claude. That made the score 2-1 after 48 minutes of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Gines to make the kick off. Los Pibes Corvina FC's Faustino Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Gines in the 58th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Los Pibes Corvina FC's Arnulfo Veronica nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquilino Claude made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Alejo Mundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Alejo Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguaditas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Mundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Aguaditas defense, Arnulfo Veronica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Claude. The Aguaditas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Claude should have stopped the shot. Enrique Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Ugaitz made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Alejo Mundo sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aguaditas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Pibes Corvina FC.
