An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Cucao in the 4th minute of play forced Ovara's goalkeeper Julio Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Lano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Transito's goalkeeper Silvestre Abeita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovara's Julio Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Opilano in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Jacobo Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Silvestre Abeita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braulio Opilano to strike the kick off in the second half. Braulio Opilano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Narciso Pereyra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Tab notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Transito's Silvestre Abeita. Silvestre Abeita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ovara's Julio Ayala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Ovara from getting a goal against them.
