After a defensive mix-up in Malvinas FC's zone, Ramon Euloxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Torres came out of the goal and Ramon Euloxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Ramon Euloxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Tanio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horacio Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Quiroga having to interfere.
