When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Aureliano Osmundo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eusebio Izel to make any attempt to save it. Fulgencio Arano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Macerio in the 11th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Soven FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Kaxen. Soven FC's Eusebio Izel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Osmundo in the 14th minute of play. If Aureliano Osmundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ricardo Kaxen came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Soven FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Kaxen couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute Segundo Macerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Arano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Penetradores Futbol Club booed when Soven FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Christobal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aureliano Osmundo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eusebio Izel. That made the score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliano Osmundo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Soven FC's zone, Arnulfo Herensuge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Izel came out of the goal and Arnulfo Herensuge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the game, Aureliano Osmundo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Eusebio Izel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Herensuge in the 59th minute of play forced Soven FC's goalkeeper Eusebio Izel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Macerio in the 64th minute of play forced Penetradores Futbol Club's goalkeeper Fulgencio Arano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Macerio got free with Fulgencio Arano in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Soven FC's Christian Christobal got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Soven FC's Segundo Macerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fulgencio Arano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Ricardo Kaxen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Arano having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Ricardo Kaxen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soven FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penetradores Futbol Club the free kick. Ricardo Kaxen kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ricardo Kaxen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
