An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Liher in the 32nd minute of play forced Escalante AFC's goalkeeper Inocencio Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Escalante AFC's zone, Bruno Lesardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Amor came out of the goal and Bruno Lesardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute Zeledon Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Lizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Liher in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Apto con Preexistencia's Leopoldo Liher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Amor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Inocencio Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Liher in the 56th minute of play. Escalante AFC's Inocencio Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Liher in the 61st minute of play. Julian Jokin's late challenge caught a Escalante AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Jokin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Apto con Preexistencia's Julian Jokin got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute Julian Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Escalante AFC's zone, Leopoldo Liher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Amor came out of the goal and Leopoldo Liher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Lesardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Amor having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Apto con Preexistencia fully deserved thier win.
