Gregorio Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Tiburcio Feliu made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Danel. Marroneros F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 16 minutes of play, Nonogasta AFC's Gregorio Canor made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Danel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute Tiburcio Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Danel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tiburcio Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Canor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Danel having to make a save. After the first half Nonogasta AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiburcio Feliu to strike the kick off in the second half. Gregorio Canor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ernesto Danel made a huge save. Ernesto Danel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Feliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gregorio Canor came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Nonogasta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Canor couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Danel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gregorio Canor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ernesto Danel made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gregorio Canor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nonogasta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Canor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Danel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 played minutes Marroneros F.C got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Ioritz. In the 71st minute Tiburcio Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Danel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gregorio Canor sped through Marroneros F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernesto Danel.
