If Silverio Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Omar Feo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Ruisko. Jarill FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Feo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Silverio Theobald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Instituto ACC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Theobald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Ruisko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Jarill FC's Humberto Ruisko got control of the ball when Silverio Theobald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Fulgencio Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Instituto ACC! Benigno Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fulgencio Kaxen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benigno Ladio went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Anier Ferrer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Kaxen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Instituto ACC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Jarill FC a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Guillermo Federigo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Instituto ACC's Fulgencio Kaxen. 1-3. After the first half Jarill FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Ladio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jarill FC's Humberto Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Theobald in the 60th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Silverio Theobald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Humberto Ruisko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarill FC's Humberto Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Feo in the 65th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Jarill FC's Basilio Baleren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Basilio Baleren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jarill FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Basilio Baleren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Oscar Froila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fulgencio Kaxen having to make a save. After 89 played minutes Instituto ACC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Abadie. When Adolfo Abadie fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Instituto ACC's protests and gave Adolfo Abadie a yellow card for diving instead. Guillermo Federigo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fulgencio Kaxen. Instituto ACC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
