A collision led to Rosetti getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Mario Berbiz hit a great ball. Teobaldo Lico's late challenge caught a Rosetti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Legión 14's Isidoro Emesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Legión 14 from getting a goal against them. Marcelino Patrido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Silvanito in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Legión 14's Ciriaco Xabat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelino Patrido in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cirilo Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcelino Patrido acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Filomeno Raymon. After 91 minutes, Lino Ramirez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legión 14 and the Rosetti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delmiro Lizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Emesto having to interfere.
