In the 5th minute, Santos Egoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Evarado charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Evarado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santo Lorencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jonatan Ourente made a huge save. With a little luck, Araujo AFC's Jonatan Ourente got control of the ball when Santo Lorencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Gilberto Henric hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saavedra's Dalmacio Chabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Egoi in the 33rd minute of play. Dalmacio Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Egoi in the 36th minute of play. Victor Gasteiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dalmacio Chabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Ourente came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Saavedra's Segundo Ferrando. But to his dismay, Segundo Ferrando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
