The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Caucete FC's Leandro Aballe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Caucete FC from getting a goal against them. Leandro Aballe had great luck who in the 4thth minute grab hold of the ball when Vladimiro Delfino from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 6 minutes into the game, Remigio Javiero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caucete FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frontera the free kick. Remigio Javiero kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Frontera's Jesus Caitano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leandro Aballe but with some difficulty. After 7 played minutes Caucete FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Javiero. Roman Theodore hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Vladimiro Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Caucete FC's Remigio Javiero got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Frontera's Jesus Caitano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vladimiro Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Leandro Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Cai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Aballe having to interfere. If Vladimiro Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Vladimiro Delfino put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leandro Aballe. If Vladimiro Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jesus Piorno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frontera's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Piorno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Aballe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Leandro Aballe managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Frontera's Jesus Piorno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jesus Piorno struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Leandro Aballe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera. If Vladimiro Delfino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Theodore made a kick off. Leandro Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Piorno, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Caucete FC's Remigio Javiero got a free kick in the 56th minute. Jesus Piorno took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Aballe. Leandro Aballe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Leandro Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Piorno in the 68th minute of play. Leandro Aballe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Delfino went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 3-1 became the score in the 76th minute when Roman Theodore elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vladimiro Delfino succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. 87 minutes into the game, Jesus Piorno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Leandro Aballe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Fabricio Cai fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frontera's protests and gave Fabricio Cai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Fabricio Cai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Frontera's Vladimiro Delfino in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caucete FC's goalie prevented a goal. Leandro Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Piorno in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Frontera were the better team. Frontera's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
