After 32 played minutes Cortaderas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Araoz. Cortaderas AFC's Cayetano Araoz got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. A collision led to Cortaderas AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Adolfo Bermudez hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Adolfo Bermudez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cortaderas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grütly AFC the free kick. The supporters of Grütly AFC booed when Cortaderas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Cortaderas AFC's goalkeeper Guillermo Elija had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Bladi. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Lastur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Bermudez hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Oscar Corderun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cortaderas AFC's Guillermo Elija didn't even have to move. Samuel Bladi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Elija read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute, Cristo Tano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Enaut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillermo Elija having to make a save. But to his dismay, Samuel Bladi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Grütly AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
