The goalkeeper, David Montez, was totally fooled by Reconquista's Evelio Monico, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Constantino Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reconquista's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Bero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Montez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Constantino Bero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Montez. The goal made the score 2-1. Constantino Bero was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 28 played minutes Reconquista got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Lop. Cirilo Llorenc's late challenge caught a Reconquista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cirilo Llorenc helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Reconquista booed when Huracan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Huracan FC. After a defensive mix-up in Huracan FC's zone, Constantino Bero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Montez came out of the goal and Constantino Bero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Garaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Laureano Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. David Montez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Reconquista's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
