Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Quirce in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Cibran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Haroldo Cibran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes la belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Igon. Jonatan Tadzio might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Cibran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonatan Tadzio ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Quirce in the 23rd minute of play forced la belgrano's goalkeeper Haroldo Cibran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Cibran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Osoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Unai in the 31st minute of play forced la belgrano's goalkeeper Haroldo Cibran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Marcos Quirce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Quirce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. la belgrano's Haroldo Cibran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Quirce in the 36th minute of play. Jonatan Tadzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Haroldo Cibran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcos Quirce came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Quirce couldn't finish the play. If Marcos Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind la belgrano's goalkeeper Haroldo Cibran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Quirce in the 67th minute of play forced la belgrano's goalkeeper Haroldo Cibran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, la belgrano's Paulo Berriotxoa got a free kick in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, la belgrano's goalkeeper Haroldo Cibran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Tadzio. The referee showed Antonio Unai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Unai to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, la belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Quirce came free, but Haroldo Cibran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Haroldo Cibran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
