The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Quiroga got free with Christian Poncio in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Anguil AFC's Mateo Magdaleno in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Christian Poncio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramon Luar charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramon Luar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Senillosa getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. The Senillosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Aldo Franco came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Senillosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Franco couldn't finish the play. Fermin Txindoki hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Senillosa's Urbano Gurutz in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Senillosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Gurutz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Vitin having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Anguil AFC's Isaias Vitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Anguil AFC from getting a goal against them. Anguil AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Aldo Franco scored to the left of an out of position Isaias Vitin, making the score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Anguil AFC's zone, Aldo Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Vitin came out of the goal and Aldo Franco tried to chip the ball over his head.
