In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balsa's goalkeeper Timoteo Benvide, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Roman Ralondo rounded Balsa's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The supporters of Caraza AFC booed when Balsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Blai didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Roman Ralondo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Timoteo Benvide to make any attempt to save it. Balsa's Timoteo Benvide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Balsa from getting a goal against them. Aquiles Asier might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timoteo Benvide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience was convinced that Roman Ralondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timoteo Benvide was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Rigoberto Quinton made a precise shot to the right of Timoteo Benvide. Balsa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Timoteo Benvide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Heli, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Roman Ralondo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Caraza AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Ralondo couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Caraza AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
