The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dudignac's Emiliano Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Quiroga having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Tala's Natalio Gaueko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulises Oier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Natalio Gaueko took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulises Oier. Ulises Oier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Remigio Garaile kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Tala got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Garaile. In the 21st minute, Dudignac's Saturnino Caton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. A collision led to Tala getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Natalio Gaueko hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Federico Cristofor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulises Oier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Cristofor in the 31st minute of play forced Dudignac's goalkeeper Ulises Oier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tala's Mariano Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Vidal in the 33rd minute of play. After 41 played minutes Dudignac got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Transito. In the 44th match minute, Tala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Rico to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Faustino Transito sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Mariano Quiroga threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Faustino Transito this time. Saturnino Caton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Mariano Quiroga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Vidal to make the kick off. Mariano Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Vidal in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Tala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Urdaspal to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Vidal in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Quiroga saved Tala from getting behind. In the 61st minute Federico Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Oier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Dudignac's Saturnino Caton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mariano Quiroga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauricio Mannuel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Emiliano Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Quiroga having to interfere. Ulises Oier came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Tala's Natalio Gaueko. But to his dismay, Natalio Gaueko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Natalio Gaueko struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ulises Oier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tala. After 83 minutes, Remigio Garaile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tala and the Dudignac players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Remigio Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tala! If Saturnino Caton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd match minute, Dudignac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Claus to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Oier made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Natalio Gaueko sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Tala getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Remigio Garaile hit a great ball. The supporters of Dudignac booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 101 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Boniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustino Transito missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 103 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Mariano Quiroga right hand side. The Tala players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
