Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isidoro Frances kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute Isidoro Frances shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Darien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Botafogo FC's Isidoro Frances in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lavalle FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Bernardino Guillen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavalle FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Guillen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lino Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Frances in the 24th minute of play. A hard shot by Cecilio Milian from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Lino Darien's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 28 minutes of play, Botafogo FC's Horacio Gumaro made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Darien was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Casimiro Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Gartzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Tiniebra in the 35th minute of play. Lino Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Frances in the 39th minute of play. Casimiro Luar struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Evaristo Gartzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavalle FC. 44 minutes into the match, Botafogo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Luar came free, but Evaristo Gartzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casimiro Luar to make the kick off. Evaristo Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Luar, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Isidoro Frances notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lavalle FC's Lino Darien. Lino Darien was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacinto Tohias hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes Lavalle FC got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Botello. If Casimiro Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Gumaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Darien having to interfere. If Isidoro Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Botafogo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
