After a defensive mix-up in Jarillito FC's zone, Ermegildo Orlondon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Faro came out of the goal and Ermegildo Orlondon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Albano Frutos came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Jarillito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Frutos couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes, Alfredo Milian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fernet Branca and the Jarillito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Fernet Branca got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Milian. Eulalio Orain was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alfredo Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarillito FC's Ciro Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Mingo in the 27th minute of play. Jarillito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fernet Branca the free kick. After 37 played minutes Jarillito FC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Cruz. Ciro Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Orlondon in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Fernet Branca's Jacinto Hartz got control of the ball when Albano Frutos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, one of Jarillito FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jarillito FC. Isaac Buinton shot the penalty kick right outside the post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Fernanco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ermegildo Orlondon in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ciro Faro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ermegildo Orlondon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ciro Faro made a huge save. Albano Frutos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jacinto Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Fernet Branca got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Amor. Hugo Mingo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Jarillito FC's Ciro Faro got control of the ball when Ermegildo Orlondon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hugo Mingo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Alfredo Fernanco notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fernet Branca's Jacinto Hartz. Jacinto Hartz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute of the match Edgard Segio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Hartz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 85 played minutes Fernet Branca got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Amor. Jacinto Hartz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albano Frutos went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Fernet Branca's Delmar Amor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fernet Branca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jarillito FC.
