When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Eriberto Hegoi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Salvador Txeru to make any attempt to save it. Salvador Txeru made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Emilio Montay sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Guardia del Monte's Froilan Beltxe got a free kick in the 9th minute. Uriel Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Maximiliano Otsando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Efrain Colon made a precise shot to the right of Salvador Txeru. Canquel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Guardia del Monte's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Vedillo came free, but Maximiliano Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Otsando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Sugoi in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Uriel Vedillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Maximiliano Otsando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximiliano Otsando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Otsando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Vedillo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Eriberto Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Txeru having to interfere. Edelmiro Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Otsando having to interfere. Jesus Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Uriel Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Otsando having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Vedillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eriberto Hegoi came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Guardia del Monte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Hegoi couldn't finish the play. Emilio Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Canquel's Uriel Vedillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maximiliano Otsando. Maximiliano Otsando yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Eriberto Hegoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Erubiel Aguilera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Damaso Karmel in the 70th minute really tested Maximiliano Otsando's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 71st minute, Froilan Beltxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Guardia del Monte getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jesus Azibar hit a great ball. Maximiliano Otsando was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Damaso Karmel. Edelmiro Sugoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Eriberto Hegoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Canquel booed when Guardia del Monte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edelmiro Sugoi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Maximiliano Otsando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canquel. Guardia del Monte's Maximiliano Otsando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Guardia del Monte from getting a goal against them. The Canquel players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Guardia del Monte from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
