Ismael Mikelats made a great header on Lecueder's corner, it was just that El Deportivo Junior's Valentin Tristan managed to reach the ball for a save. Bernardo Mingo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Deportivo Junior's Artemio Donio got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvaro Rius kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Faustino Urbez might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Tristan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustino Urbez ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Manuel Eguen made the kick off in the second half. El Deportivo Junior's Artemio Donio got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severiano Obeko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A collision led to Lecueder getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Cristo Peli hit a great ball. In the 71st match minute, Lecueder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Moise to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Obeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Mingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Rius charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Rius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvaro Rius hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lecueder's zone, Bernardo Mingo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Obeko came out of the goal and Bernardo Mingo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lecueder's Ismael Mikelats shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Valentin Tristan but with some difficulty. Valentin Tristan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Rius in the 87th minute. Bernardo Mingo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Obeko having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Donio in the 94th minute of play forced Lecueder's goalkeeper Severiano Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Mingo in the 95th minute of play forced Lecueder's goalkeeper Severiano Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Mingo scored 2-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severiano Obeko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lecueder's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
