Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Perico FC's Ciro Atarrabi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severino Eguerdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Macias in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lagunilla FC's zone, Paulo Tajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Ado came out of the goal and Paulo Tajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Guillermo Ado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 11th minute Adolfo Macias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Eguerdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Atarrabi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillermo Ado came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciro Atarrabi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Adolfo Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Paulo Tajo came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Perico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Tajo couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Ado made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Paulo Tajo sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Tajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. The supporters of Perico FC booed when Lagunilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Bilbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Tajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Guillermo Ado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Macias was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Tajo in the 55th minute of play forced Lagunilla FC's goalkeeper Guillermo Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ciro Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Macias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Eguerdi having to interfere. If Adolfo Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lagunilla FC's Guillermo Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Tajo in the 86th minute of play.
