If Leonel Eladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Ignatius hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Gaspar Heli came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Chelsea F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Heli couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Benicio Rio made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Urdaspal. Chelsea F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Eladio was the one to do the kick off. Carmelo Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Urdaspal having to interfere. Rodrigo Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Gasteiz in the 57th minute of play. Juan Gasteiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Juan Gasteiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Eladio might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Guillen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonel Eladio ran back to his position shaking his head. Siro Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Heli, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With an all-out effort, Ranelagh's Rodrigo Urdaspal threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Gasteiz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rodrigo Urdaspal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Gasteiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Siro Guillen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Heli in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Juan Gasteiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amancio Lehoi's late challenge caught a Ranelagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Lehoi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ranelagh booed when Chelsea F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Urdaspal was a little too slow when Juan Gasteiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ranelagh eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
