Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Gaizkine took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Alvaro Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Matteo in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alumny Futbol Club's zone, Higinio Vasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Gaitan came out of the goal and Higinio Vasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Gaitan made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Higinio Vasco sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute Alvaro Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Alumny Futbol Club getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jonathan Segio hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Estudiantes LP's Osvaldo Bermund tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Jonathan Segio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alumny Futbol Club's goalkeeper Daniel Gaitan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Gaitan made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Higinio Vasco sent off a good shot on target. When Jonathan Segio fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alumny Futbol Club's protests and gave Jonathan Segio a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Segio kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Domingos Fresco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Estudiantes LP's Alvaro Matteo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Gaitan. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. Alvaro Matteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Daniel Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

If Alvaro Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Vasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Higinio Vasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Estudiantes LP's Higinio Vasco got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Higinio Vasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Alumny Futbol Club's zone, Higinio Vasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Gaitan came out of the goal and Higinio Vasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Matteo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Gaitan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After 82 played minutes Alumny Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Segio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Matteo in the 85th minute of play forced Alumny Futbol Club's goalkeeper Daniel Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Matteo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Gaitan was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Estudiantes LP players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
