Jaime Brais started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Maore during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14thth minute of the game Leonides Jakue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tacupampa's Mariano Brun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Tacupampa getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Froilan Maore hit a great ball. Leonides Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Suarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Brun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Modesto Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Brun having to interfere. Modesto Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mariano Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Brun having to interfere. Modesto Suarez came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mariano Brun could save by the left post. Mariano Brun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Jakue in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonides Jakue made a kick off. A collision led to Tacupampa getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Froilan Maore hit a great ball. Leonides Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casillas FC's goalkeeper Cristo Dantel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cristobal Gonza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Brais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Tacupampa's zone, Modesto Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Brun came out of the goal and Modesto Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jaime Brais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacupampa's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Brais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Dantel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes Casillas FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Gombal. Cristo Dantel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Brais, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jaime Brais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leonides Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tacupampa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
