Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amancio Gartzen got the match started through his kick off. Venancio Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Baltasar Gregory managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Piratas's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Gregory was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Oalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amancio Acevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Gartzen in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Gardey got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Enekoitz. Horacio Enekoitz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ambrosio Oalo made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Venancio Paz sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the game, Pastor Blanco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ambrosio Oalo. Pastor Blanco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Astor Maureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Amancio Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venancio Paz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ambrosio Oalo having to make a save. In the 28th match minute, Gardey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Isauro to maneuver through the defense. If Pastor Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Oalo was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Pastor Blanco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pastor Blanco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 43rd minute Amancio Gartzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Amancio Gartzen came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Gardey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Gartzen couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, Los Piratas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Gregory to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Maureo in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Acevedo saved Los Piratas from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Astor Maureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Amancio Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gardey's zone, Venancio Paz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Oalo came out of the goal and Venancio Paz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes Gardey got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Nardo. When Pastor Blanco came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Los Piratas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Blanco couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Astor Maureo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Gardey's Amancio Acevedo threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amancio Gartzen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aureliano Rafel made a great header on Gardey's corner, it was just that Los Piratas's Amancio Acevedo managed to reach the ball for a save. 79 minutes into the match, Gardey's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Paz came free, but Ambrosio Oalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Paz in the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pastor Blanco in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Oalo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Los Piratas booed when Gardey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Astor Maureo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Gardey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Maureo couldn't finish the play. If Amancio Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Piratas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
