Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maximino Cordarrel started the match with the kick off. If Matias Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Sorocayense's Marcos Edorta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bonifacio Abeitia. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. In the 17th match minute, Sorocayense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Chus to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Teo Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Frasquito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sorocayense getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Timoteo Gerazan hit a great ball. Teo Luar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bonifacio Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Leocadio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Bonifacio Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Leocadio in the 37th minute of play. Matias Leocadio might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bonifacio Abeitia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Leocadio ran back to his position shaking his head. Bonifacio Abeitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Leocadio in the 43rd minute of the match. Teo Luar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Frasquito having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The supporters of Sorocayense booed when Sapistas Unidos F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Sabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Abeitia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Leocadio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Marcos Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Abeitia having to interfere. Teo Luar struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Silvano Frasquito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapistas Unidos F. C.. If Maximino Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Sapistas Unidos F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Matias Leocadio came free, but Bonifacio Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Frasquito was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximino Cordarrel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 75 minute of play. After 78 played minutes Sapistas Unidos F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Txerran. 81 minutes into the match, Teo Luar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvano Frasquito. Sorocayense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teo Luar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Marcos Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sapistas Unidos F. C.'s Alejandro Donostia got a free kick in the 88th minute. Marcos Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Abeitia having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sapistas Unidos F. C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
