Jaime Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bonifacio Abeitia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, Jaime Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Garra Blanca's Jaime Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Abeitia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute Generoso Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Maximino Cordarrel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejandro Donostia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernardo Caton came out and tried to block the shot, but Alejandro Donostia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. The supporters of Garra Blanca booed when Sapistas Unidos F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Nel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bonifacio Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Cruz in the 32nd minute of play. When Teo Luar came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Sapistas Unidos F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Luar couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, Sapistas Unidos F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Cruz came free, but Bonifacio Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garra Blanca's Bernardo Caton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Garra Blanca from getting a goal against them. If Maximino Cordarrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sapistas Unidos F. C.'s goalkeeper Bonifacio Abeitia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Bernardo Caton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Luar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Garra Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Cordarrel came free, but Bernardo Caton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sapistas Unidos F. C.'s Victorio Sabino got a free kick in the 65th minute. Generoso Caetano made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 66thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Bonifacio Abeitia would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 68th minute, Maximino Cordarrel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Caton was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Isidro Procopio fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garra Blanca's protests and gave Isidro Procopio a yellow card for diving instead. Isidro Procopio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Garra Blanca's Bernardo Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Cordarrel in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Alejandro Donostia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sapistas Unidos F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Donostia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Caton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anibal Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Sapistas Unidos F. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
