Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Anastasio Hermon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Leocadio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Eloy Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Matias Leocadio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eloy Franco, 1-0. Sorocayense's Matias Leocadio got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Franco having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Sorocayense's Eloy Franco threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matias Leocadio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Hermon got free with Eloy Franco in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matias Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Franco having to interfere. Matias Leocadio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Edorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Matias Leocadio came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Sorocayense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Leocadio couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Sorocayense's Eloy Franco threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matias Leocadio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonas Lehoi, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eloy Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Leocadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Libertad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Iraitz. In the 45th minute of the match Jonas Lehoi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Franco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Matias Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Iraitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Matias Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Leocadio in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 minutes, Cayetano Iraitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Libertad AFC and the Sorocayense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cayetano Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Libertad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Edorta came free, but Eloy Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Matias Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Matias Leocadio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorocayense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Leocadio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Edorta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Hermon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Edorta in the 86th minute of play. If Matias Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Libertad AFC defense, Matias Leocadio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Franco. The Libertad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Franco should have stopped the shot. Eloy Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Edorta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sorocayense fully deserved thier win.
