With a little luck, Software Worker's Bernabe Gagriel got control of the ball when Edgard Pepillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Pepillo got free with Bernabe Gagriel in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Niños del Maizal's Generoso Nazario slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernabe Gagriel. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Niños del Maizal's Lorenzo Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Gumaro in the 20th minute of play. Lorenzo Pelagius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Inautzi's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. If Candido Gumaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Pelagius didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Software Worker's Arnaldo Inautzi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Lorenzo Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Inautzi made a kick off. Bernabe Gagriel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Nazario's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes Software Worker got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Estebano. When Niños del Maizal's Generoso Nazario in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Software Worker booed when Niños del Maizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Shepherd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candido Gumaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Pelagius having to interfere. Arnaldo Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lorenzo Pelagius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candido Gumaro went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Pepillo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Gagriel saved Software Worker from getting behind. After 79 played minutes Software Worker got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Mino. Segundo Estebano hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Software Worker's Bernabe Gagriel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Nazario in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Pepillo in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Gagriel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgard Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bernabe Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Pepillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernabe Gagriel having to make a save. When Generoso Nazario came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Niños del Maizal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Nazario couldn't finish the play.
