The supporters of Achuppallas AFC booed when IGTIUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Benet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Pirmin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Saul Balesio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IGTIUM and the Achuppallas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Bruno Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amador Ramone was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Sidro got free with Luciano Elodio in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Anaya in the 59th minute of play forced Achuppallas AFC's goalkeeper Godfredo Pirmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Pirmin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Benet in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfredo Pirmin saved Achuppallas AFC from getting behind. In the 68th minute Flavio Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Benet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 minutes IGTIUM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aurelio Mercurio who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of IGTIUM's goalie and right to Rafael Dino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. IGTIUM's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fermin Ovando charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Ovando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fermin Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Godfredo Pirmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 82 minutes, Ermegildo Eguzki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Achuppallas AFC and the IGTIUM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Ermegildo Eguzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
