Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Apolo Amor made the kick off and thus started the match. Cirilo Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Eustacio Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cirilo Selmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Selmo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Santo's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Leonel Abancens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leonel Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Leonel Abancens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cirilo Selmo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gigante del sur's Apolo Amor. But to his dismay, Apolo Amor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Gigante del sur's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Barbosa came free, but Alvaro Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Barbosa in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Lartaun saved Gigante del sur from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Barbosa to make the kick off. Leonel Abancens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alvaro Lartaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonel Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, Latero's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Amor came free, but Cirilo Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Latero getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ignacio Aimar hit a great ball. Agustin Tonio's late challenge caught a Latero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Tonio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Gigante del sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Tonio to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Amor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Selmo having to interfere. Cirilo Selmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Santo in the 79th minute. When Prospero Bertol fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Latero's protests and gave Prospero Bertol a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Elpidio Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Latero's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Lartaun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Barbosa scored 1-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Lartaun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
