The goal made the score 2-0. 18 minutes into the game, Marciano Erramun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Bemabe. Marciano Erramun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Rosario Central's Roman Inge got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Egun in the 27th minute of play forced Valdés's goalkeeper Cristian Chus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Erramun to make the kick off. Rosario Central's Abelardo Bemabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Rozarius in the 52nd minute of play. Casimiro Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Egun, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Martino during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abelardo Bemabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Erramun in the 59th minute of play. Roman Inge's late challenge caught a Valdés's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored Valdés's protests and gave Angel Pietro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Valdés's Angel Pietro got a free kick in the 68th minute. Efrain Gorosti was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Rosario Central's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Egun in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Chus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto Bartolome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Rosario Central defense, Fernan Rozarius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Bemabe. The Rosario Central fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Bemabe should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute Casimiro Egun suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Moises Machado's late challenge caught a Rosario Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Machado helped the player get up and apologised. Gilberto Bartolome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Chus having to interfere. Abelardo Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Onofre helped the player get up and apologised. Rosario Central's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roman Inge in the 102nd minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Haroldo Steven got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-3. 102 minutes into the match. The Valdés players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
