The Morales Páez FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Jatsu should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, David Nesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Jatsu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gerardo Jatsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Nesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, David Nesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th match minute, Morales Páez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Gamus to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriana Perez in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Jatsu saved Morales Páez FC from getting behind. If Adriana Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If David Nesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Morales Páez FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Emmanuel. A collision led to Manantiales getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Justo Onbera hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Nesto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Nesto in the 53rd minute of play forced Morales Páez FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Jatsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manantiales's Adriana Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Adriana Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Morales Páez FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Nesto came free, but Gerardo Jatsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Adriana Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Nesto in the 70th minute of play forced Morales Páez FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Jatsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Celedonio Emmanuel fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morales Páez FC's protests and gave Celedonio Emmanuel a yellow card for diving instead. Celedonio Emmanuel hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If David Nesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morales Páez FC's Gerardo Jatsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Nesto in the 74th minute of play. Adriana Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Gerardo Jatsu made a huge save.
