The goalkeeper, Oscar Sedeni, was totally fooled by Tacural FC's Miguel Noe, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Jairo Salomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Sedeni made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rodolfo Frasco sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Morris FC's Jesus Etxatxu got a free kick in the 31st minute. Oscar Sedeni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Frasco in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Morris FC's Oscar Sedeni got control of the ball when Rodolfo Frasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodolfo Frasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Sedeni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Frasco ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Salomon in the 41st minute of play forced Morris FC's goalkeeper Oscar Sedeni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Salomon to make the kick off. With a little luck, Tacural FC's Modesto Omero got control of the ball when Romulo Orlondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodolfo Frasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Sedeni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 77th minute Jairo Salomon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Orlondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Omero having to interfere. Oscar Sedeni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Frasco in the 91st minute of the match. Jairo Salomon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Morris FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Oliviero. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
