Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Álamos's Isaac Iyan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Angelo Lluterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Marino in the 6th minute of play. Marco Txartiko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Prudencio Geofredo made a huge save. Prudencio Geofredo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Donato Elodio. 17 minutes into the match, Álamos's Marco Txartiko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Geofredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Agustin Tajo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Mauricio Calixto put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Angelo Lluterio. Baldomiro Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Lluterio having to interfere. Jáuregui's Prudencio Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Iyan in the 32nd minute of play. Isaac Iyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Geofredo having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Isaac Iyan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Prudencio Geofredo. Isaac Iyan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Baldomiro Marino might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Lluterio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Marino ran back to his position shaking his head. Baldomiro Marino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Lluterio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Calixto got free with Angelo Lluterio in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Álamos's goalkeeper Angelo Lluterio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Benito Galo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Álamos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Galo couldn't finish the play. Marco Txartiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Txartiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Baldomiro Marino took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Angelo Lluterio to make any attempt to save it. In the 78th minute, Marco Txartiko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Jáuregui getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Niceto Etxeberri hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Mauricio Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mauricio Calixto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Geofredo having to interfere. Isaac Iyan might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prudencio Geofredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Iyan ran back to his position shaking his head. Prudencio Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Iyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Jáuregui supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jáuregui would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
