Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo Bordat started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Bonifacio Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Mendiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Mendiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siro Mendiko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bonifacio Bermudez's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Daniel Azeari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Challacó's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Azeari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Mendiko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Tigre's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Azeari came free, but Siro Mendiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Acuña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Isidro Phelipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Alfredo Bordat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tigre's Amancio Acuña got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Esteban Aurre fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Challacó's protests and gave Esteban Aurre a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Esteban Aurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Challacó's Isidro Phelipe got control of the ball when Amancio Acuña tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Bordat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Challacó got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Lauaxeta. In the 34th minute, Challacó's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amancio Acuña fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alfredo Bordat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro Phelipe having to make a save. Challacó's Isidro Phelipe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Challacó from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Bonifacio Bermudez made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Amancio Acuña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Isidro Phelipe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Bordat in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Phelipe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Isidro Phelipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifacio Bermudez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Challacó's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Daniel Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Siro Mendiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Azeari was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Isidro Phelipe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Acuña went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Esteban Aurre hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, Tigre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Pelayo to maneuver through the defense. Amancio Acuña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes of play, Tigre's Alfredo Bordat made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidro Phelipe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Challacó's zone, Alfredo Bordat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Phelipe came out of the goal and Alfredo Bordat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tigre fans cheered their team off the field, for while Challacó had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
