Mario Kelemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, one of Azul AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Azul AFC. The referee gave Tigre a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leo Txindoki, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Azul AFC's Mario Kelemen. 0-1. After 27 played minutes Tigre got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Pelayo. Mario Kelemen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Bordat's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Mario Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Acuña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Kaiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Mendiko having to interfere. Azul AFC's Mario Kelemen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Bordat in the 43rd minute of play. Evaristo Kaiet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Mendiko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 53 minutes, Enzo Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azul AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amancio Acuña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Osorio in the 62nd minute of play. Evaristo Kaiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Mendiko having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Kaiet in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Mendiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mario Kelemen made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Amancio Acuña sent off a good shot on target. Enzo Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Azul AFC booed when Tigre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Pelayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fermin Oalo fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tigre's protests and gave Fermin Oalo a yellow card for diving instead. Fermin Oalo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Kaiet in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Mendiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Tigre:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Azul AFC:s goal. Mario Kelemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Bordat, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Evaristo Kaiet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Siro Mendiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
