Bernardo Nofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Dayam having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Yeruá AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Jerrald came free, but Roberto Dayam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corralito's Fidel Quin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Lalla in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Cornelio Eladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corralito reached it. Bernardo Nofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Dayam having to interfere. If Jonas Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Dayam acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leandro Todor. When Isidro Jerrald came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Corralito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Jerrald couldn't finish the play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Nofre struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Roberto Dayam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corralito. The Yeruá AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Corralito's performance. The match ended with a win for Corralito.
