Dante Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Ignado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Mergildo in the 10th minute. When Nicolas Nahia fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trelew FC's protests and gave Nicolas Nahia a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolas Nahia kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Romulo Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Trelew FC's Adan Iliana got a free kick in the 16th minute. Saul Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Narciso Ignado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Felipo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Gombal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Damian Iruinea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trelew FC's Godfredo Gombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ilisca's Narciso Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Richie in the 28th minute of play. Ilisca's Narciso Ignado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ilisca from getting a goal against them. Godfredo Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Felipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Damian Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Richie was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 43rd minute Saul Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Figueroa in the 46th minute of play forced Trelew FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Gombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romulo Felipo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Romulo Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Rius's late challenge caught a Trelew FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Rius helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ilisca's Roque Rius got a free kick in the 58th minute. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ilisca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicolas Nahia was slow to take the kick. During this time Trelew FC's players had a chance to rest. If Saul Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godfredo Gombal made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Damian Iruinea sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Iruinea got free with Godfredo Gombal in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Indar during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Damian Iruinea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Ignado having to interfere. Roque Rius kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ilisca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicolas Nahia was slow to take the kick. During this time Trelew FC's players had a chance to rest. 83 minutes into the match, Trelew FC's Saul Richie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Narciso Ignado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 played minutes Ilisca got a freekick which was hit by Roque Rius. After a defensive mix-up in Ilisca's zone, Saul Richie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Ignado came out of the goal and Saul Richie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Trelew FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Primitivo Indar hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Romulo Felipo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfredo Gombal was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. If Damian Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
