After 7 played minutes Taficillo got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Pelayo. Apolo Jayvier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aaron Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Bernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Poz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Jacobo Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Atauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Sancho in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Fermin Poz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aaron Bernard, passed just outside the right post. The attack was good, but when Apolo Jayvier in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Arequito FC's Aldo Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Boni in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Arequito FC got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Procopio. Lorenzo Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Aldo Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lorenzo Boni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taficillo's Jacobo Sancho managed to work through Arequito FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jacobo Sancho dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Boni in the 35th minute of play forced Arequito FC's goalkeeper Aldo Atauri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fermin Poz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Arequito FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Apolo Jayvier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fermin Poz was the one to do the kick off. Taficillo's Aaron Bernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Poz in the 54th minute of play. If Fermin Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Prudencio Procopio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arequito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taficillo the free kick. The supporters of Arequito FC booed when Taficillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Cordario didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Taficillo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Arequito FC. Arturo Erramun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aaron Bernard. 1-0. Severino Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Atauri having to interfere. Aldo Atauri didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Severino Cordario charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Cordario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apolo Jayvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Bernard having to interfere. If Jacobo Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Taficillo players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arequito FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
