Fidel Caitano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 26 minutes into the game, Evelio Maureo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carcarañá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bárcenal United the free kick. In the 27thth minute of the game Octavio Hurko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carcarañá's Isidro Firmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Evelio Maureo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavio Hurko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Bárcenal United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carcarañá were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Luke was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Carcarañá's protests and gave Silverio Evangelista a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bárcenal United getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fulgencio Dominguez hit a great ball. Isidro Firmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Hurko in the 68th minute of play. Isidro Firmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Hurko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Bárcenal United's Inocencio Natal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Firmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Isidro Firmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inocencio Natal went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, Paolo Hustaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcos Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Evelio Maureo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played.
