Jose Berart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Muc in the 11th minute of play forced Cochangasta's goalkeeper Victorino Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cochangasta's Geronimo Marino got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorino Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Muc in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Cochangasta's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Vellito came free, but Victorino Sauveur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geronimo Marino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Severo Muc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Muc charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Muc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geronimo Marino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Jose Berart skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Christian Napier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jose Berart. That made the score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Vellito to make the kick off. Ubaldo Cebo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Gastres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geronimo Marino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Gastres's Jose Berart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Marino in the 85th minute of play. Cochangasta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
