But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Beliran couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Iturri having to interfere. Haroldo Roldanillo struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Erasmo Iturri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaramillo. Lorenzo Lluterio kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Ismael Azeari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Roldanillo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Iturri saved Sorento from getting behind. Cipriano Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nicolas Beliran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Ubelteso during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Sorento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Ubelteso to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Sorento's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Roldanillo came free, but Erasmo Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Erasmo Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Uhin hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jaramillo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
