Marcelo Nardo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hassins's Abelardo Silvino. But to his dismay, Abelardo Silvino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gonzalo Perrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Ermano having to interfere. In the 20th minute Haroldo Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 23rd minute when Haroldo Veronica elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Arnoldo Ermano didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Unquillo's Maximiliano Taurino shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Haroldo Veronica struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Marcelo Nardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hassins. After having played for 46 minutes, Abelardo Silvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hassins's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Silvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo Nardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Lamberto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Gregorio Raymon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unquillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hassins the free kick. Gregorio Raymon kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Hugo Lamberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Nardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 57th minute, Gonzalo Perrando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hugo Lamberto came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Hassins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Lamberto couldn't finish the play. In the 60th match minute, Unquillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Artizar to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, one of Hassins:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Unquillo a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Melquiades Arnau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hassins's Arnoldo Ermano. 2-3. Arnoldo Ermano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Perrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Tab charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Tab the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victor Tab hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Unquillo's zone, Haroldo Veronica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Nardo came out of the goal and Haroldo Veronica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximiliano Taurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Ermano having to interfere. Maximiliano Taurino might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoldo Ermano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Taurino ran back to his position shaking his head. Gonzalo Perrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd match minute, Hassins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Valery to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Perrando in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Ermano saved Hassins from getting behind. The Unquillo manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Hassins to win.
