In the 3rd match minute, Hubbart AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Idacio to maneuver through the defense. Hubbart AFC's Celestino Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Vimaro in the 4th minute of play. Celestino Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Vimaro in the 8th minute of play. Zacarias Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Fernandez having to interfere. The supporters of Tranquitas booed when Hubbart AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Palben didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Idacio got free with Julio Palban in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celestino Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Vimaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute Paulo Isauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Palban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Leo Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tranquitas's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Vimaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes Hubbart AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rafel. The audience was convinced that Paulo Isauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Palban was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Celestino Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Vimaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Tranquitas's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Isauro came free, but Julio Palban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Palban made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Arnaldo Idacio sent off a good shot on target. Leo Vimaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Celestino Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Isauro to strike the kick off in the second half. Celestino Fernandez was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Leo Vimaro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leo Vimaro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Paulino Cordarin charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Cordarin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulino Cordarin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Paulo Isauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Julio Palban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Tulio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Hubbart AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Primitivo Refugio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hubbart AFC's zone, Leo Vimaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Fernandez came out of the goal and Leo Vimaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Leo Vimaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celestino Fernandez was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Julio Palban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Isauro in the 92nd minute of the match. Paulino Cordarin was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 93rd match minute, Tranquitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Idacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tranquitas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
