Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ruben Banegas started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Bernabe Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espora AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 minutes, Felix Viator mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hickman FC and the Espora AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Hickman FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Viator to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Hickman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Marques came free, but Marcelo Firmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Silverio Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marcelo Firmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silverio Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Firmin having to interfere. Silverio Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, Hickman FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Ignado to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Espora AFC's Eustacio Bide sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Firmin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Silverio Napier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Napier in the 30th minute of play forced Hickman FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Espora AFC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Espora AFC's Bernabe Marques looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The corner led Espora AFC's Eustacio Bide to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcelo Firmin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Amancio Chesus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Silverio Napier came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Espora AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Napier couldn't finish the play. The Hickman FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Espora AFC were winning 0-1.

Marcelo Firmin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Marques in the 66th minute. Marcelo Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hickman FC's zone, Silverio Napier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Firmin came out of the goal and Silverio Napier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hickman FC's Marcelo Firmin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Hickman FC from getting a goal against them. Felix Viator's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amancio Chesus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Bernabe Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Firmin having to interfere. Silverio Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Felix Viator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Firmin made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Bernabe Marques sent off a good shot on target. When Silverio Napier came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Espora AFC fans jumped to their feet. Bernabe Marques in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcelo Firmin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bernabe Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Marcelo Firmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espora AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
