When Eustacio Bide fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espora AFC's protests and gave Eustacio Bide a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Arroyito got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Cidro. Arroyito's Flavio Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Napier in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Silverio Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Txartiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Faustino Bernal fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Espora AFC booed when Arroyito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Arroyito's zone, Bernabe Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Txartiko came out of the goal and Bernabe Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Silverio Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Silverio Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Txartiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Arroyito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Mikolas to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Silverio Napier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Txartiko was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Fidel Orlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Amancio Chesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Daniel Oier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fidel Orlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Orlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustino Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Chesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Oier in the 46th minute of play. If Bernabe Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Oier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Espora AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Vistruario. In the 56th minute, Fidel Orlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 minutes, Artemio Gerazan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arroyito and the Espora AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Arroyito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Gerazan to maneuver through the defense. Arroyito's Flavio Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Napier in the 66th minute of play. Amancio Chesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Oier in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the Espora AFC defense, Daniel Oier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amancio Chesus. The Espora AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Chesus should have stopped the shot. Arroyito's Flavio Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Napier in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Silverio Napier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arroyito's Flavio Txartiko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silverio Napier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Chesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fidel Orlo in the 80th minute. Silverio Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Elpidio Vistruario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Flavio Txartiko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arroyito players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Espora AFC.
