When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anastasio Salamon sped through Chivas de Guadalajara's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ermegildo Gilen. The attack was good, but when Celso Perutxo in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Genaro Viator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Eguen in the 18th minute of the match. Severino Rius hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, one of Portezuelo AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute Elias Eguen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Viator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Genaro Viator managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Chivas de Guadalajara's Celso Perutxo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Kaiet in the 34th minute of play forced Chivas de Guadalajara's goalkeeper Ermegildo Gilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Portezuelo AFC's Anastasio Salamon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Gilen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilfredo Kaiet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ermegildo Gilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Gilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Kaiet in the 75th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Chivas de Guadalajara's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Kaiet came free, but Ermegildo Gilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Portezuelo AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty!
