Fabricio Mederi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Club Atletico Atlanta's Fabricio Mederi got control of the ball when Benedicto Quilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedicto Quilo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Fabricio Mederi 27 minutes into the match. Carolo Santio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Mederi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Benedicto Quilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Quilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Mederi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Manucho booed when Club Atletico Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Macerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Manucho's Roman Eladio got a free kick in the 47th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Quilo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Santio in the 85th minute of play forced Club Atletico Atlanta's goalkeeper Fabricio Mederi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Quilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Mederi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Manucho fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atletico Atlanta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
